I waited for an hour for someone to come and clear them and finally when I was sick of smelling cigarette ashes I kindly asked one of the serves to remove it. They left their ash tray on a small table next to me as well as their empty bottles and cans. There was a group of women sitting next to me for about 2 hours who smoked non stop and drank quite a bit. I didn't get a smile or a thank you even after I politely smiled and thanked them for my food. I know it's a tough job and I'm sure some people are rude and impatient. I did order both however the girls working could have been a little more polite and friendly. The hotel offered complimentary towels which was nice. It was a first for me and I spent almost 4 hours swimming and sunbathing. Housekeeping was very efficient when we needed towels and toiletries delivered. The bathroom was very big which I loved and that was clean as well.
Our room was ready and it was spacious, clean and well appointed. The gentleman checking us in was friendly and polite. I have to say that this trip really changed my opinion of Foxwoods and I believe that it's because it's summer and the pool is open and the Tanger Outlets are now open as well! There was a long line a check in but it moved quickly. We live about an hour away so we frequent here a few times a year for leisurely trips as well. My husband and I spent three days and two nights at the Fox Tower as he was there for a business trip.
